Nice job Noel. B- or B works for Leddy. He was a different player without Hamonic.

Much better without Hammer. I'd go with a solid B for Leddy.

He played zero games this year, because of the concussions from the season prior. His career is effectively over.

OTT BOS TOR CBJ MTL Five Eastern teams in po's that were not there last year. All of these teams made key decisions over the summer.

I'm a Hammer fan but once he finished the year last year, a decision should have been made over the summer or he should have sat out. This type of indecision sent the wrong message or another example of a poorly managed team. Same with goaltending
Fans could care less about Leddy's report card. He's an offensive d man who has the speed to catch his mistakes. A plus is no surprise.

Saw this posted on the comments section of IPB?

Anybody see Chris Botta's tweet? He says Peter Luukko, current chairman of the Panthers is lead candidate to run Isles and take lead on arena. He is connected to some major money.

https://www.sny.tv/island...at-belmont-park/225489930

I got the below from Botta's Twitter.

Chris Botta‏ @ChrisBottaNHL 51m51 minutes ago

Peter Luukko, former Flyers prez/current Panthers chairman, strong candidate to run the Islanders and take lead on arena deal.

Luukko is co-chairman of Oak View Group (Leiweke, Azoff, MSG) looking to run Islanders arena. Another reason Luukko makes sense for NYI.

Isles would not be interested. So nobody is commenting on my post about Botta?

Come on. Not that I don't believe YOU, I just don't trust in this ownership. If Snow is still the GM and they bring him in, would he have reign to fire Snow? Probably not. Therefore he'd just be a puppet PoHO. Not what we need or want.

And of course they wouldn't be interested. Why bring in a management and coach tandem that's won championships when you've got Snow at the helm? Morons.

I do all this hard work to provide information and nothing.

It's very strange if this person is the hire. So he will be like a POHO and also be in charge of the arena deal? What will L & M be doing?

I still want a POHO hired and if this guy has power to fire Garth then I'm on board. He seems to have a good resume? It's all about whether he has real power. He seems like he has more of a business background though. We shall see.

I don't know. Then again, why ask other teams how your GM is doing? I hold out no hope for this ownership. Asinine.
On another note, I'm finally getting to watch the Oilers. They started to play like the Isles in the first. Give aways in their own zone. Down 3-2 with 7 minutes left. On the pp.

The big focus seems to be on a new building with L & M. I would think they can handle that part and they can just hire a POHO to take care of the hockey side? It seems simple to me and I think they are making it complicated. They had two years to get up to speed on hockey people and get an idea as to who they would like have take over.

I still have not watched one minute of playoff hockey. I know the Rangers won a big road game. Bad job by the Habs losing at home.

First - Klefbom with the bomb to tie it. Woo hoo!
Second - I've stopped trying to use logic when it comes to the Islanders. They do everything that defies logic.

It'll be whatever snow says it'll be. After all, the other GM's say he's doing a fantastic job.
